Audiovisual Labor Collections

These collections document North American Labor and worklife. They complement the Reuther Library's emphasis on industrial unionism and related social, economic, and political reform movements. The collections is the largest assemblage of labor photographs in the world, documenting key events, meetings and conventions, parades, prominent persons, and work scenes. Foremost are images of the nine unions for which the Library is the official depository: ALPA, AFSCME, AFT, AFA, IWW, SEIU, TNG, UAW, and UFW.
