development of an interlibrary loan agreement among biomedical libraries in
Detroit, the publishing of the Selected List of Biomedical Serials, and various grants received by the Group in order
to develop the profession of medical librarianship through continuing education,
workshops, and resource sharing.
Also, these files contain material concerning the establishment of
the Michigan Health Sciences Library Association by the MDMLG, and the Group's
involvement in the National Library of Medicine, and the Midwest Regional Group
of the Medical Library Association.
