Labor Notes is a publication of the Labor Education and Research Project, a group of dissident UAW rank-and-filers opposed to joint labor-management programs advocated by the union’s leadership beginning in the late 1970s.
The Labor Notes Collection consists of clippings, flyers, articles, newsletters and other printed material documenting dissident autoworker and steelworker movements in the 1970s and 1980s.
