This alphabetically arranged
correspondence includes lettersand memos concerning almost every conceivable
topic, fromsocial issues to politics to television appearances. A large portion
of the material concerns individual grievances or complaints of Rank and file
UAW members. Although much of this
mail was handled by
Woodcock's administrative assistants(especially Beckham, Ephlin, and Moran), it
all received Woodcock's attention. Correspondence for 1976 and 1977 is not
included.
