Boxes
1-15
These files are from the National
Office. Correspondence, pamphlets, programs, lawsuits, legislation, and salary
information are contained in this part of the collection. Much of the
correspondence in Series I deals with various aspects of the locals and their
relations to the state and national organizations. Another major topic is that
of union organizing. (Organization as a topic is dealt with in the index only
when it is the title of something, and the correspondence is not indexed for
this topic.) This series is arranged alphabetically by state. Within each state
the correspondence is arranged chronologically. The subjects are arranged
alphabetically, with the materials arranged chronologically within the folder.
