The papers of Stephen Adamcyk were placed in the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs by Shelton Tappes in July of 1972 and were opened for research in July of 1991.
Stephen Adamcyk was a pioneer unionist in the Ford Foundry, Local 400. In June 1972 Local 400 presented Mr. Adamcyk a plaque honoring him for his service of 35 years to the union.
The papers of Mr. Adamcyk consist of several union dues receipts and several fliers and a piece of correspondence relating to union organizing in the Ford Motor Company in 1941.
