UAW Region 2A, which encompasses the southern half of Ohio, the southwestern part of Pennsylvania, and all of West Virginia, was first organized in the early 1940s.  It has gone through several geographical realignments and became part of Region 2B in 1990.

 

The papers of UAW Region 2A consist of minutes, financial records, correspondence, organizing and contract negotiations materials, grievances, arbitration cases, publications, clippings, and convention and election materials relating to the business of the locals and companies represented in the region.
