Politics and Public Policy

From its inception, District 925 understood the importance of political power and public policy. Over the years, 925 activists were part of major multifaceted national campaigns, which engaged the public on matters of workplace policy. On issues like family medical leave, comparable worth and protection from health risks like those associated with use of video display terminals, they spearheaded highly public campaigns, with mobilization throughout the labor and women’s movements.
