An active union member and labor education advocate, Harry Lester was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Firemen and Engineers, served as president of United Steel Workers (USW) Local 2659 and on the International Staff of USW District 29. Mr. Lester’s papers document his campaign for the position of USW District 29 Director.
