Tony Nicols was an organizer of United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 406 (Long Beach, California), and was an official of both Local 406 and Local 923. Mr. Nicols’ papers consist of the roster of Local 406 members terminated for participating in the 1938 Ford Motor Company strike and documentation of the 1941 strike settlement.
