Attorney Harry Riseman was active in various socialist and labor organizations, including the Detroit Labor College, the Socialist Party of Wayne County, Michigan, and the Michigan Old-Age Pension League. Mr. Riseman’s papers primarily concern the issue of pensions for senior citizens, and also include materials related to socialist labor organizations in Detroit.
