Dr. Walt served as chief of surgery at Detroit Receiving Hospital and Harper Hospital from 1965 until 1988, serving as chair of the surgery department for the same time period, serving as assistant and associate dean of the department from 1965 until 1970. The collection includes his office files as well as his writing and memberships.
