Ira Miller was a charter member of United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 919 (Norfolk, Virginia), and served as president of UAW Local 920 (Richmond, Virginia). Active in union leadership, Mr. Miller received the Walter P. Reuther Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Miller’s papers consist of an autobiographical sketch of his career as a union official.
